Netflix Sucks!
If you are a customer of Netflix, sooner or later you will get to the point where you wish you were using Blockbuster or better, Peerflix, because there are things in the way they do business that may get to your nerves.
Some people report that shipments get delayed for customers who watch their videos and send them in promptly. By the way, they even state this in their own terms of service:
“In determining priority for shipping and inventory allocation, we give priority to those members who receive the fewest DVDs through our service.”
Some people have a real issue with scratched discs. Some DVD players play a scratched disk another wont, but some are really picky about the disc being clean. All too often a child or lazy movie watcher could spill their favorite entertainment-time food or beverage only to ruin your personal movie watching session (unless you have the equipment to clean optical discs).
A year ago I had to reluctantly give up Netflix after 3 years because of cracked disks (unplayable throughout) which I received 2 in a row. I was a one-at a-time little customer for $9. They did not bother to ask me why I quit nor have they contacted me since.
